Now that Uber Eats has established itself in the food delivery game they are now looking to expand. Perhaps you were hoping to accompany your burger with a joint. Well, they have you covered.
Starting this week Toronto Uber Eats customers can have marijuana delivered to their homes.
"First and foremost, we see this as a critical piece to helping discourage impaired driving, and secondly, this is just another initiative that can help combat the illegal cannabis market, which still makes up more than 40 per cent of cannabis sales in Ontario today," Lola Kassim, Uber Eats Canada's general manager, told CBC Toronto.

"So, we're providing an option that goes beyond in-store, that goes beyond pickup and it's also an option for consumers on a platform like Uber Eats, which many Torontonians already know and love and also is built on, you know, trust and safety."
According to a recent poll from Gallup, 16% of American's smoke weed, which is more than people who smoke cigarettes. One would have to estimate that California will be next in line to try this.
Money talks, Uber Eats will be delivering the Devil's Lettuce in America rather soon if they are turning a profit on it in Canada.
