Say what you want about her, but Roseanne Barr isn't afraid to speak her mind. While promoting her new show on Jimmy Kimmel Live, the audience actually applauded when she spoke the truth about President Trump. Barr and co-star John Goodman were on the show to talk about their new show and Trump. A key element of this show is that her character actually supports President Trump.

At the beginning of the interview, Kimmel asked her about her 2012 presidential campaign, which was ran entirely on Twitter, making her "the original crazy Twiterer." She even joked that Trump stole the strategy from her. Goodman joked that he's been paying hush money for years when responding to the Stormy Daniels saga. The crowd erupted into laughter after that. Barr was able to get on the ballot in three states during her presidential run and finished sixth place overall. She was pushing the legalization of marijuana big-time.

Barr was asked whether or not her support of Trump causes issues within her family. When Kimmel asked if her family was made at her for voting for Trump, she said, "We had some so pro-Hillarys and some pro-Trump, and there was a lot of fighting."

Kimmel asked Barr about her one-time friendship with Hillary Clinton. Kimmel asked whether or not she used to be a good friend with Clinton. She reluctantly responded, "Yeah, I was."

It's always good to see someone in Hollywood not afraid to go against the group think that everyone else employs. Besides her and Tim Allen, it's hard to find anything even resembling a conservative in Hollywood.
