Taco Bell is spicing up our week by announcing the return of its Nacho Fries. This time, they're back with a twist and for a longer period.
On April 25, Taco Bell reintroduces the fries as Secret Aardvark Nacho Fries. This new version is a result of their collaboration with the hot sauce brand, Secret Aardvark.
"We're thrilled to bring back fan-favorite Nacho Fries for their 11th return, in a whole new way, with an extra flavorful partnership with Secret Aardvark," said Liz Matthews, Taco Bell’s global food innovations officer. "Secret Aardvark's dedication to bold flavors and culinary innovation makes them the perfect partner for Taco Bell and our iconic Nacho Fries. Together, we're taking flavor exploration to new heights, ensuring our fans experience the ultimate taste sensation with every bite."
The revamped fries will be seasoned with Mexican spices and come loaded with toppings like slow-roasted chicken, a three-cheese blend, sour cream, nacho cheese sauce, and pico de gallo. They're served with a unique Aardvark sauce, featuring green tomatoes, roasted tomatillos, and serrano and green habanero peppers, all blended with zesty ranch.
"This revolutionary partnership heralds a new era of flavor with an innovative blend of heat and zest," added Taco Bell. Priced at $4.99, these fries will have the longest run on Taco Bell’s national menus yet, although the exact duration wasn't specified.
There's also a special promotion to launch this collaboration. Taco Bell and Secret Aardvark are joining with artist Bryce Wong for an exclusive event. This "Tuesday Drop" will reward 300 lucky Fire! Tier Rewards Members on April 23.
