Gov. Ron DeSantis' new memoir reveals the one condition he had before tying the knot with Florida's first lady at Disney World Orlando: No Disney characters.

The opening pages of the chapter recount the tale of Governor and Mrs. DeSantis' wedding at Disney World.

"When Casey first broached the idea of getting married at Disney World, I was surprised because I did not know people even got married there," DeSantis wrote in his book.

According to the Florida governor, he consented to the idea of a Disney wedding on one condition.

"My only condition was that no Disney characters could be part of our wedding. I wanted our special day to look and feel like a traditional wedding. I didn’t want Mickey Mouse or Donald Duck in our wedding photos," DeSantis wrote.

The book, titled, 'The Courage to Be Free," will be released on Tuesday.

The couple recently spoke to Florida Politics and discussed their Disney World wedding, acknowledging the irony of being married at the amusement park given their present relationship with the Walt Disney Co.

"Well, because, you know, coming from Ohio, that’s where I grew up. And so my family always enjoyed going to Disney. I mean, that we looked forward to it. We enjoyed the rides. I mean, we enjoyed, this was just a retreat for us. And so we figured, you know, if we had this opportunity, my parents were like, man, it’d be really great to go back to Disney," Casey DeSantis said. "And one of the other great things was the fact that they did a lot of the planning for you."

The Florida first lady stated that even though she got married at Disney World, she will not take her family to the amusement park until "things change."

"So it was a, I could just show up sort of thing. And it was really a lot of fun. It’s made a lot of news, obviously. You know, people are asking me, ‘Are you going to bring your kids back and are you going to go back to Disney?’ And I’m thinking, ‘Well, you know, not until things change a little bit over there.’ But it was a fun time."

A bill was signed into law by DeSantis on Monday, which brings an end to Disney's self-governing authority, putting them instead under the governance of a state board.

I like to consider myself someone who is open to exploring the menu of the restaurants I frequent, but Chick-fil-A is an exception. Give me the number one with lemonade, please. That being said, the new sandwich they are rolling out in test markets is so odd I just might have to give it a try.

Chick-fil-A has announced that it will trial a "Cauliflower Sandwich" at selected outlets in various markets.

Disney Faces Serious Backlash After Releasing 'Anti-White' Cartoon

The reboot of Disney's "The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder" is facing intense criticism over a controversial rap that features children singing about slavery and reparations. The lyrics of the rap argue that America has not done enough to atone for its history of prejudice, racism, and White supremacy and therefore owes Black Americans.

Critics argue that the rap is too mature for the show's young audience, while others argue that the song is an important reminder of the history of racism in America. The rap states, "This country was built on slavery, which means slaves built this country. The descendants of slaves continue to build it. Slaves built this country and we, the descendants of slaves in America, have earned reparations for their suffering and continue to earn reparations every moment we spend submerged in a systemic prejudice, racism, and White supremacy that America was founded with and still has not atoned for."
