"So the movie goes like this," Harrelson started. "The biggest drug cartels in the world get together and buy up all the media and all the politicians and force all the people in the world to stay locked in their homes. And people can only come out if they take the cartel's drugs and keep taking them over and over."

Before he began his monologue Harrelson set the stage for it by saying he was reading it in 2019 while smoking pot.

He finished the joke with, "I threw the script away. I mean, who was going to believe that crazy idea? Being forced to do drugs? I do that voluntarily all day."

Twitter CEO Elon Musk took to Twitter to chime in with his thoughts on it.

"So based. Nice work @nbcsnl!" Musk tweeted.

Harrelson, a native Texan who is a long-time advocate for marijuana decriminalization was cast in the role of Woody on "Cheers" 1982. Later, he starred in several hit films like "Doc Hollywood", "White Men Can't jump," "Indecent Proposal," and "The Hunger Games."

Movie Insider reports that Harrelson's newest film, " Champions," will be in theaters March 10.

Disney Faces Serious Backlash After Releasing 'Anti-White' Cartoon

The reboot of Disney's "The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder" is facing intense criticism over a controversial rap that features children singing about slavery and reparations. The lyrics of the rap argue that America has not done enough to atone for its history of prejudice, racism, and White supremacy and therefore owes Black Americans.

Critics argue that the rap is too mature for the show's young audience, while others argue that the song is an important reminder of the history of racism in America. The rap states, "This country was built on slavery, which means slaves built this country. The descendants of slaves continue to build it. Slaves built this country and we, the descendants of slaves in America, have earned reparations for their suffering and continue to earn reparations every moment we spend submerged in a systemic prejudice, racism, and White supremacy that America was founded with and still has not atoned for."
