Rock star Dave Grohl is demonstrating his charitable nature once more, proving that he is just as much of a rockstar off-stage as he is on it, by utilizing his barbeque talents to provide food for those in need.
The Foo Fighters' lead man showed up at The Hope Mission in Los Angeles around midnight Wednesday with some overnight gear and a massive meat smoker. Grohl took the next 16 hours (14 to cook and 2 to let the meat rest) whipping up ribs, pork butt, brisket, cabbage, coleslaw and beans.
As evidenced by the pictures we have obtained, it is clear that Dave was deeply involved in the entire process, meticulously ensuring that everything was flawless as he worked in the kitchen.
According to our sources, Dave covered all of the expenses out of his own pocket and caught some sleep in the parking lot during the smoking process.
At serving time, Dave took the opportunity to engage in conversations with both the Hope Mission staffers and the guests residing at the shelter. In total, we were informed that his substantial barbeque meal aided in providing food for approximately 450 guests and 50 staff members.
There goes my hero!

Disney Faces Serious Backlash After Releasing 'Anti-White' Cartoon
The reboot of Disney's "The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder" is facing intense criticism over a controversial rap that features children singing about slavery and reparations. The lyrics of the rap argue that America has not done enough to atone for its history of prejudice, racism, and White supremacy and therefore owes Black Americans.
Critics argue that the rap is too mature for the show's young audience, while others argue that the song is an important reminder of the history of racism in America. The rap states, "This country was built on slavery, which means slaves built this country. The descendants of slaves continue to build it. Slaves built this country and we, the descendants of slaves in America, have earned reparations for their suffering and continue to earn reparations every moment we spend submerged in a systemic prejudice, racism, and White supremacy that America was founded with and still has not atoned for."
