Big oof! On Thursday, President Joe Biden declared that he will not sign a bipartisan infrastructure bill unless it also contained a ‘tandem” bill for more taxes.
Isn’t that like the least American thing possible? A president attempting to force more taxes on the American people?? We’ve threw tea into the harbor for less....
“I control that. If they don’t come, I’m not signing it. Real simple,” Biden told reporters when he was asked about his plan to pass both measures through Congress at the same time.
“We need physical infrastructure, but we also need the human infrastructure as well,” he continued, “We’re going to have to do that through the budget process and we need a fair tax system to pay for it all.”
Biden is attempting to tack on an additional $1.8 trillion in funding to pay for free community college, free childcare, and free universal preschool.
So basically, the people already paying for those things will still be paying for them, just with higher taxes. And people who do not need or want college, childcare, or preschool will also be paying for amenities that they will not be using, via taxes.
Biden is literally pushing America towards a socialist, communist rule.
When asked how he would aid families while they were waiting for both bills to pass, Biden leaned into the microphone and whispered hoarsely.
“I got them $1.9 trillion in relief so far. They’re going to be getting checks in the mail that are consequential,” he said.
When asked how he could get every Senate Democrat to rally behind a partisan measure, Biden acknowledged it would be a struggle but appeared optimistic that he would succeed.
“Well, my party’s divided. But my party’s also rational,” he said.
He also boasted that his “pretty young presidency” had gotten a lot done.
“I’ve been president about 150 days. I think I’ve done pretty well so far,” Biden bragged.
Are we even watching the same show? Because his definition of “pretty well” and my definition of “pretty well” are completely different.
