During an interview with BBC Radio 4, Gorka talked about the tremendous pressure that comes with being in the military. He spoke about how Trump doesn't want to “force [transgender people] into the hierarchical military environment.” As usual, Gorka used facts to back up his argument, including suicide rates by transgenders.

Something to think about:
“The military is not a microcosm of civilian society. They're not there to reflect America. They are there to kill people and blow stuff up. They are not there to be socially engineered. We want people who are transgender to live happy lives, but we want unit cohesion and we want combat effectiveness.”
Sure, President Trump made this announcement out of nowhere. The American military was very surprised to hear it this week. Despite the announcement, there has not yet been a modification to currently police which prevents transgenders from serving in the military.
Despite the criticism this move has been met with there are many people who strongly support the move and use facts to back their stance.
