Yep you read that right. A Helena High School student in Montana, Kaitlyn Juvik, became disturbed by men "sexualizing women's bodies." So she decided to take action and get men back for it. Her best idea was to have a no bra day and teach those darn men to stop fantasizing about women's bodies. So feminists have no bra day so perky high school girls can walk around bra-less and get back at men for "sexualizing women's bodies." Wow!
Feminists Have No Bra Day
Per The Guardian:
It was about gender equality and teaching people not to sexualize women’s bodies. We’re always asked to do things to make guys more comfortable. If my boobs make you uncomfortable, then why are you looking at me in that way?
This was to show girls that they can be comfortable with their bodies without worrying about making someone else uncomfortable.
I wasn’t doing it for attention, and I did not expect that it would get so big.
On 27 May, we went to school without our bras, and a lot of teachers and students were talking about it.
I got pulled into the principal’s office four times that day. In one of the meetings, the principal asked me to take down our Facebook page, telling me it was a distraction to people’s learning, and it was getting out of hand.
So at this point we've established that this girl is serious. She is going to teach men not to sexualize women's bodies by showing more of it. This is completely insane. All she is doing is making a bunch of young, pervy high school boys extremely happy. How does she possibly think this will do anything more than that?
