Death, taxes and Trey Gowdy fighting for justice. Trey Gowdy destroys former Department of Homeland Security Chief Jeh Johnson.
On Wednesday Jeh Johnson gave a testimony before the House Intelligence Committee. During the testimony, he triggered Trey Gowdy.
During the 2016 election cycle, the DNC refused help from the Department of Homeland Security following Russians hacking into their computer systems. This is according to DHS chief Jeh Johnson. Johnson also said that he first became aware of the the hacking into DNC systems sometime last fall. That would mean he found out about it months after the FBI found out about it. At this point, Gowdy mode was activated.
Trey Gowdy: “If they had turned the server over to either you or Director Comey, maybe we would have known more and maybe there would have been more for you to report. So I guess what I’m asking you is, why would the victim of a crime not turn over a server to the Intelligence community or to law enforcement?”
This was a GREAT question by Gowdy. Why didn't any of the intelligence agencies take a look at the servers? After all, wasn't the DNC a victim of hacking?
It seems the DNC doesn't care about getting to the bottom of Russian hacking or trying to prevent it from happening again. If they did, they CERTAINLY would have handed over their servers. Or maybe the Democrats had something to hide. This is the much more likely scenario.
At this point Jeh Johnson was rattled and responded, "I’m not going to argue with you, sir. Uh, that was a leading question and I’ll agree to be led.”
Speaking of hacking, the Department of Homeland Security was busted trying to hack the Georgia elections. It's funny the left is accusing others of doing exactly what they do; hacking and obstruction.
