On Tuesday Senator Ted Cruz talked about how anti-Trump the press is. For example, they continue to cover stories no one cares about, like the Stormy Daniels lawsuit against President Trump.

"Most of the media, they're just out of their mind," the Texas Senator said to Fox News. "They have what I call Trump Derangement Syndrome, where all they can do is attack the president all day long on the scandal of the day."

Cruz said that no one in Texas cares about the Stormy Daniels case. He noted that some networks were passing on the returns of three U.S. citizens from North Korea to continue to report on Stormy Daniels.

"When I go home, nobody asks about the latest scandal of the day and whatever the talking heads are lighting their hair on fire about," Cruz commented. "People are excited about tax cuts, about regulations being lifted, about jobs growing."

Senator Cruz made the prediction that he would win his re-election over opponent Rep. Beto O'Rourke, while pointing out that most of the money O'Rourke is raising is coming from outside of Texas.

Cruz said, "Fortunately, Hollywood celebrities don't tend to vote a whole lot in Texas elections."
