The left was obsessed with the "nothingburger" Trump-Russian collusion conspiracy for a long time. After it ended, Rachel Maddow's ratings tank.
The Mueller report has been released and it's been exposed that the Russian collusion theory was nothing more than a hoax. Rachel Maddow was one of the most prominent figures in pushing this lie. Now that pushing it is no longer an option for her show, her ratings have taken a dive.

After the release of the Mueller report, her ratings have dropped by 20 percent.
The Drudge Report had some fun with the misfortune of Maddow.
Her ratings were built with a house of cards. She used lies and fabrications to suck her audience in. Once it was exposed that she is a fraud and there is no Russian collusion, it's no surprise that her ratings have tanked.
So what's next for Maddow? Per the Daily Beast:
