All the liberals were freaking out that after the attack that led to the death of Iranian General Qasem Soleimani and Iran's retaliation that President Trump would start World War III. I can't imagine how disappointed they were Wednesday morning after they learned that he wasn't going to attack back.
There were zero casualties in the attacks and that was because the U.S. military received intel that the attacks were coming beforehand.
It honestly looks like President Trump is exercising a smart tactic to let Iran save face in order to deescalate the situation and not start a new war. Iran got the last strike, it didn't hurt anyone and they need to look tough for the world, but Trump looks tougher by standing down.
He went on to say that Iran appears to be standing down, and I believe it. Iran knows that they don't want to mess with the U.S.
President Trump also called out former President Obama by saying that the missiles that were launched by Iran were paid for by the money that the United States gave Iran under the former administration.
“The missiles fired last night at us and our allies were paid for with the funds made available by the last administration. The regime also greatly tightened the reins on their own country. Even recently killing 1,500 people at the many protests that are taking place all throughout Iran. The very defective JCPOA expires shortly, anyway, and gives Iran a clear and quick path to nuclear breakout. Iran must abandon its nuclear ambitions and end its support for terrorism.”
“Iran's hostilities substantially increased after the foolish Iran nuclear deal was signed in 2013, and they were given $150 billion, not to mention $1.8 billion in cash. Instead of saying thank you to the United States, they chanted 'Death to America.'”
