"I think ISIS can do terrible things," McCain continued. "But it's the Russians who tried to destroy the fundamental of democracy and that is to change the outcome of an American election.”

Like all of the other Russian conspiracy theorists, McCain admits that he has seen "no evidence" that there was any Russian influence over the American election. He did that the Russians tried and continue to try.

He also took a veiled shot at President Trump for not taking action with regards to the alleged Russian influence over the election.

"We have done nothing since the election last November to respond to Vladimir Putin's attempt to change the outcome of our elections. So, way to go Vladimir. We haven't responded at all," McCain said.

So let's get this straight. There is no evidence that Russia influenced the election. Yet President Trump should be taking more action when it comes to the issue.

McCain also went after Trump's senior and adviser and son-in-law Jared Kushner with regards to setting up a secret line of communication with Russia leading up to when Trump took office.

"I know some administration officials are saying this is standard procedure. I don't think it's standard procedure prior to the inauguration of the president of the United States by someone who is not in an appointed position,” Senator McCain said. "This is becoming more and more bizarre. In fact, you can't make it up."

What do you think about these claims by John McCain?
