The media was hoping to make Twitter layoffs a massive story. Reuters set up cameras to have a live video feed of sad ex-employees walking out of Twitter. The only issue with that was the fired employees were told not to come in that day.
Despite this CNBC was still able to wrangle up a couple of former Twitter data engineers named Rahul Ligma and Daniel Johnson. Johnson pointed out that he owns a Tesla and has no idea how he will continue to make payments.
It turns out that the Ligma-Johnson duo pulled off a historic troll job.
