When there's an opportunity to show how far left you are Elizabeth Warren takes it. Sunday Elizabeth Warren attacks the NRA after the shooting in Texas. She took to Twitter to weight in on the issue after the terrible shooting went down in Sutherland Springs.
On Tuesday morning conservative heavyweight Ben Shapiro took to Twitter to completely blow her argument to bits.
Warren started with this:
I'm heartsick for the victims, families & community of Sutherland Springs. But I'm more than heartsick – I'm angry.

How many more people must die at churches or concerts or schools before we stop letting the @NRA control this country's gun policies?

Shapiro's response:
Let's ask the NRA instructor who took down the convicted criminal the government illegally allowed a gun, shall we? https://t.co/Rw4IddhLJi

Warren has been blaming the GOP for gun control for quite a while. This is nothing new for her.
Thoughts & prayers are not enough, GOP. We must end this violence. We must stop these tragedies. People are dying while you wait.

In October she went as far as saying that Congress is "being held hostage by the NRA."
