On Monday, Fiat Chrysler announces a $1 billion investment in United States manufacturing. This will create 2,000 new jobs in Michigan and Ohio. The plant in Warren, MI will be creating a pickup truck that is currently made in Mexico. It will also be able to produce the new Jeep Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer. These are both large SUVs. The plant in Toledo, Ohio will be creating a new Jeep pickup truck.

This move followed a similar move by a rival brand. Just this past Tuesday Ford said they were cancelling building a plant in Mexico and investing $700 million in a Michigan assembly plant. Trump's pro-growth policies are giving American companies to keep their jobs in the United States.

President-elect Donald Trump has had harsh words for companies who are taking jobs outside the United States. After Ford decided to keep their jobs at home, Trump tweeted that General Motors would be hit with a "big border tax" if they move forward with creating cars in Mexico and selling them in the U.S. And you cannot forget about Trump's deal with Sprint. The man is on fire!

Donald Trump is doubling down on his campaign promises. He promised he would do whatever he could to bring manufacturing jobs back home. At the time it seemed like a lofty promise, but as time passes it seems more and more likely.
