Authorities in Pennsylvania are currently searching for Bam Margera, the former MTV reality star and professional skateboarder, who allegedly punched his brother in the face on Sunday morning. However, this situation is not simply a matter of seeking out a suspect.

According to Fox News Digital, the individual's family is not angry and only wishes for him to return home safely and receive treatment.

"We all love him so much, and we just want to help him, and we are not against him," Bam's mother, April Margera, told Fox News Digital Tuesday. "We just want to try to get him help."

The Sunday incident has led to Pennsylvania State Police pursuing charges of simple assault, harassment, and making terroristic threats against Margera (whose real first name is Brandon).

Nonetheless, his mother disclosed that he has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder and is currently not taking his prescribed medication. Consequently, he is considered to be in a state of crisis, and his current location is unknown.

Your family loves you, and we just want you to get the help that you need. And we're not ever going to give up. - April Margera

"He just needs to settle down and get it straight, and I think it's just hard for him to do without being on his medication and trying to wrangle him," she said. "We just want him to get better. I mean, the things that he's doing are not criminal in his mind. He just thinks he's running away from his troubles."

While the police persist in their search for him, Margera's mother claimed that she has no knowledge of his whereabouts and that he did not take any of the family's vehicles.

The family is reportedly anticipating that Margera will make contact or that someone will recognize him, though they have yet to receive any updates on his location.

"Bam is like the nicest guy you would ever want to know," she said. "He's generous to a fault. He's sweet. And that's the person that we're all fighting for. And while he was in rehab in Florida, we saw that person."
