On Monday, a woman shared a video on TikTok in which she alleged to have been on a date with Bryan Kohberger, the individual apprehended in Idaho on suspicion of murder.
The woman, who goes by the name of Hayley on TikTok, stated that she matched with 28-year-old Kohberger on Tinder, seven years ago. Hayley claimed that the date turned out to be strange as per her experience, As she said, Kohberger invited her to the movies.
“My interactions with Bryan were very brief. I don’t know much about him,” she said. “We matched on Tinder, we talked for a couple of hours and then he was like, ‘Hey, you want to go to the movies with me tonight?’ I was like, sure. So we went to the movies.'”
Hayley stated that she had expected Kohberger to take her home after their date, but that he had different intentions, as per her account.
“He kind of invited himself inside,” she said.
According to Hayley, once inside her apartment, Kohberger expressed a desire to watch another movie on Netflix. Hayley said "He kept trying to touch me. Not like inappropriately, just trying to tickle me, and like rub my shoulders and stuff and I was like ‘why are you touching me?’”
“He’s like, ‘I’m not,’ and I’m like, ‘you are though,’ and he’s like, ‘I’m not touching you.’ Kind of trying to gaslight me into thinking that he didn’t touch me, which is weird.”
During the course of the evening, the woman says she excused herself to a shared dorm bathroom in an effort to distance herself from Kohberger, but she asserts that he followed her there.
“He didn’t go in with me, but like he stood outside the door … I just thought that was weird,” she said.
Ultimately, she pretended to vomit to make him leave, but she claims he sent her a text message an hour after he left, stating that she had “good birthing hips.”
“So I never talked to him [again],” she said at the end of the video.

Hayley's TikTok video has gained over 1.3 million views as of Tuesday due to the ongoing public interest in the case. Internet users have been searching for information related to Kohberger since his arrest on December 30th, which led to the discovery of a Facebook account under the pseudonym "Pappa Rodger."
