Bronny James, son of LeBron James, is a highly intriguing recruit, not only for his basketball abilities but also for his famous last name in the sport's history.
Bronny is one of the few high school athletes who receive such intense scrutiny. His actions on the court are closely observed, and a spotlight seems to follow him everywhere, even off the court.

Though his top-three list was made public last week, the decision is still open to five or six schools. Each of the three schools has a distinct connection to the James family and offer distinct opportunities.
One of the schools in the top-three is Oregon, but currently, there is an issue. The Ducks head coach Dana Altman has not yet officially extended a scholarship offer to Bronny.
Despite the absence of an offer, Bronny's father is not worried.
LeBron recently spoke with The Oregonian about the possibility of Bronny attending the University of Oregon. He stated that it is a realistic possibility, and that he and Dana Altman had discussed it during his visit to the Nike campus last summer.
"Dana knows. He knows the interest. And it’s mutual," LeBron said, per the Oregonian.
Some may interpret the lack of formal offer as a sign that Oregon's interest in Bronny is less than his interest in the Ducks, but LeBron does not see it that way. He believes that his son has the ability to play at any program of his choice.
LeBron suggested that a significant factor in the "pick of the litter" is his son's last name, or at least that is the impression he gave.
"I think Bronny can go to any college he wants to. All I have to do is pick up the phone. If Bronny says he wants to go there, he’s good enough."
