Since when is flying the American flag, the flag of our land, something that is offensive to Americans?
The flag that stands for freedom is an offense? To who? If you're in America, don't expect patriotic Americans to proudly fly the American flag.
In fact, it's actually the opposite that is true. Forbidding the flying of the flag or being offended at what that flag represents is the actual offense.
A high school principal in Virginia told the students at his school that they could no longer fly the American flag from their vehicles when they entered school grounds anymore because it is "offensive".
I'd like to know who exactly who he thinks is being offended. When I was in high school we flew the flag with pride and no one was ever offended by it. If they were, they kept their mouth shut as they should.
Law Enforcement Today reported,
When students at Franklin County High School in Virginia were told they could not fly the American flag from their trucks because it might be offensive – they did what any red-blooded American teenager would do: they flew the flag anyway.
The staff at ToddStarnes.com broke the story about this school in the area east of Roanoke and Christiansburg, where the flags displayed behind trucks have become a target for school administrators.
Earlier this week, an administrator at the Virginia school reportedly told several students that they could no longer fly Old Glory on their trucks because it was potentially “offensive” and “disruptive.”
Franklin County High School students showed up in unity on Tuesday displaying American flags on their vehicles after an administrator allegedly told them to remove them. Several local residents posted photos of the caravan driving through town with Old Glory waving in the breeze.
Here's my question, who is it exactly that is offended and why? I'll guarantee you they're either offended because of a lie or because they hate America and if that's the case, you're not welcome here.
