On Monday night, following the deadliest shooting in United States history, two Kansas City Chiefs sat during the national anthem. With there being so much backlash following the protests of last week there was a lot of hope for a reduced amount of kneeling. Sponsors have already began dropping the NFL. There was some panic among NFL owners regarding the issue.

There were only two players on either team who chose to sit during the anthem. Those two players were cornerback Marcus Peters and linebacker Ukeme Eligwe.

There was no vide of Eligwe, but there is a video of Peters sitting during The Star-Spangled Banner.

Check out the video.

As expected, NFL fans were disgusted by the actions of Peters. They took to social media to voice their displeasure over Peters' actions.

No matter how angry kneeling during the anthem makes their fans, there are still NFL players who will do it.
