Though President Trump does not speak Mandarin, he has a family member who does. President Trump's granddaughter Arabella speaks Mandarin and the Chinese raved about how great it was when they heard the 6-year-old speak.

While meeting with Chinese leader Xi Jinping on Wednesday, the two leaders strolled through the Forbidden City. President Trump took time out t0 show Xi a video of his granddaughter. In the video Arabella greets "Grandpa Xi and Grandpa Peng." She then follows that up by singing several Mandarin ballads. She closed out by reciting an ancient Chinese poem. Keep in mind that all of his was done in Mandarin.

A state news agency ini China circulated the clip and described the Mandarin skills of Arabella as "A+".

Chinese foreign ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying confirmed that the Chinese public agreed with this report, according to Yahoo! News.

"As a little ambassador of Chinese-American friendship, Arabella has already received the love of a vast number of Chinese people," Hua said during a Thursday press briefing. "This kind of special arrangement is actually very sweet and warm-hearted. We believe that this has helped to further bring closer the affection and distance between the Chinese and American people."
