A gunman opened fire at an Eastern Tennessee hotel on Thursday morning, resulting in one death and many injured.
Jennifer Rooney, 44, was shot and killed. She was a newspaper carrier and was driving to pick up her newspaper. She was shot and her vehicle went over an embankment, according to the AP.
At least two other motorists were injured while driving on the Volunteer Parkway. This is in Bristole near the Tennessee-Virginia border.
