President-elect Donald Trump met with Lockheed Martin CEO Marillyn Hewson. Donald Trump keeps winning as Lockheed is set to add 1,800 jobs and cut F-35 costs.
Trump Keeps Winning
“We are going to increase our jobs in Fort Worth by 1,800 jobs, and when you think about the (F-35) supply chain across 45 states in the U.S., it’s going to be thousands and thousands of jobs,” CEO Marillyn Hewson said.
Hewson did not elaborate on what types of jobs will be added.
Lockheed has a plant in Fort Worth that employs 14,00o people with 8,800 of them working on the F-35. The hiring will begin this year and be rolled out through the year 2020.
