Before working with Cruz, Miller also worked with Rudolph Giuliani's campaign to be mayor of New York and Mark Sanford's campaign for Congress in South Carolina.
Previously his communications were handled by the inexperienced Hope Hicks. She was very loyal, but lacked in experience.
