The women of ABC's "The View" are about as rotten as they come. Joy Behar and Whoopi Goldberg are probably the worst of the bunch, but Sunny Hostin and Meghan McCain are just as bad.
These women recently had congressional candidate Kimberly Klacik on the show and treated her like trash.
Hostin's attitude toward her definitely underlines her her complete disregard for the black conservative voice.
Klacik's appearance on the show took a downward spiral during a discussion on the severe effects of COVID-19 and her support of black voters in Baltimore.
Klacik pointed to poor living conditions as a reason why the pandemic hit so hard in her community.
It was at this moment that Joy Behar, another co-host on "The View", reprimanded Klacik for not casting blame on President Trump for the economic hardships that the black community faces.
"You have to put some blame on your president. I'm sorry. You are putting it on something extraneous here. Talk to the points, please." said Behar
The above comment referenced President Trump's interview with Bob Woodward where President Trump admitted to downplaying the seriousness of COVID19 to the American people.
In response, Klacik attacked Behar personally for dressing up as a black woman for Halloween when she was younger. Perhaps she did this in an effort to point out that everyone has a part to play in the problems facing the black community not just the President of the United States.
Behar argued that what she did was not "blackface." She called her costume a homage to the black community. She also claimed that the black community had her back.
Klacik responded that "the black community has my back as well."
Hostin took this moment to interject her two sense into the discussion,"...The black community did not vote for you. What planet are you living on?"
Klacik tried to explain but Hostin interrupted her by repeating the above question. "What planet are you living on?"
The tides will change eventually. It may not be a easy battle to win, but justice will prevail.
