Country Star Shania Twain's Surprising Pre-Show Ritual: "If I eat any solids hours before the show, I’ll have to burp,"
Shania Twain, renowned for her hit songs such as "Man! I Feel Like a Woman," recently opened up about her unique pre-show routines. Although the singer claims she's "not superstitious," she confessed to avoiding one particular activity before gracing the stage. "If I eat any solids hours before the show, I’ll have to burp," she shared with People at age 57. "Singing around a burp is distracting. So, on show days, I stick to only liquids until after the performance."
Twain's diet, as revealed this past May, largely consists of liquid nourishments, notably protein shakes packed with greens. According to USA Today, she usually limits herself to a single meal daily, occasionally complemented by a peanut butter or dark chocolate snack. On performance days, there's one particular food item the "That Don’t Impress Me Much" artist strictly avoids: "Never cheese, as dairy creates phlegm," Twain remarked.
Throughout her illustrious career, Twain has been in the limelight, hosting successful residencies like "Let’s Go!" (2019-2022) and "Still the One" (2012-2014). Reflecting on her journey, she candidly discussed her evolving confidence. "I'm relishing the self-assurance my experiences have bestowed upon me," she expressed to People. "It offers a wide playground for spontaneity."

The legendary singer also touched on her health, noting that she's now feeling "great." She said, "Perhaps it's the gratitude and newfound confidence that's fueling me. I’ve ousted self-doubt and embraced progress over perfection."
For her latest work, "Queen of Me," Twain boldly posed without clothing for her single "Waking Up Dreaming." In a chat with Fox News Digital, she vocalized her commitment to "aging naturally." The artist remarked, "Our bodies inevitably change, but that doesn't mean we should shun them." Twain concluded, emphasizing self-love, "I plan on embracing and enjoying my natural aging."
