"SNL" saw a serious case of the giggles this week with Ryan Gosling and cast members cracking up during a "Beavis and Butt-Head" sketch. The actors struggled to deliver their lines due to the laughter.

The sketch featured a NewsNation town hall, with Heidi Gardner playing the host and Kenan Thompson as a so-called A.I. expert. Thompson got distracted by a man resembling Beavis, played by Gosling, who sported a prosthetic nose and bright yellow hair.

Gosling's character, unaware of the show, was confused when asked to move by Gardner, who herself burst into laughter upon seeing him. He moved, only to be replaced by Mikey Day's Butt-Head look-alike, which sent Gardner into further fits of laughter.

Despite the chaos, Thompson kept his cool, maintaining composure while everyone else was losing it. Gosling and the others couldn't hold back their laughter, especially when Gosling and Day ended up sitting together.

The moment marked one of several for Gosling that night, following an alien abduction sketch with Kate McKinnon. He continued to laugh in later sketches, including one where he played a doctor.
