She knows no boundaries. Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) has been urging supporters to join her in using a hunger strike to "shut down" U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). She has argued that ICE cannot be abolished by Congress.

While headlining a Detroit fundraiser this past weekened, Tlaib was complaining about her colleagues and their constant "policing" of what she says. She also called them out for their lack of willingness to move forward with radical ideas such as abolishing ICE. In response she took things a step further in calling her supporters to join her in a hunger strike at the border.

More on the story from Free Beacon:

"It's going to take movements outside the halls of Congress," Tlaib told the crowd, according to video captured by America Rising, a conservative group.

"I want you all to shut them down, we can shut them down," Tlaib said to applause. "Don't wait for this Congress to act, shut them down."

"I know what they're going to say, they'll go, ‘What do you mean Rashida?' Well I'll tell you. There are some people that are using hunger strike, all these other things, going to the border, and I plan to."

When reached for comment on the situation Tlaib's office did not respond initially, but finally her communications director did.

Tlaib communications director Denzel McCampbell said that Tlaib wasn't actually calling for a hunger strike, but instead she "knows of folks who have done" them.
