MSNBC host Nicole Wallace suggested on Monday that the United States needs a "Democracy Commission" or another type of organization to save America from the Republicans. She even took things a step further and suggested former President Barack Obama should lead the charge.
Wallace, the host of “Deadline: White House," brought up the idea to Senator Claire McCaskill (D-MO). The Democratic Senator quickly dispatched if there is any type of need for this commission.

“The reason I started by asking if we’d ever been here before is because I think as a country we all have to participate in it,” Wallace started. “Because if you have kids, your kids wake up, if you have anything to do with an election, if you’re an election worker or a news anchor, they want to know what happened.”
“I think we have to have a conversation as a country about how we might not know the next morning what happened,” she continued. “We might not know the day after that — and that is their point!”
“That is their point!” Wallace said again, going on to argue that some Republicans were not even running to win the election but instead to create chaos. “Some of them will [win], unfortunately. They are running to sow discord in America. And it will change everything.”
McCaskill went a different angle and just said Republicans need to be better. "It just takes Republicans that have some character and integrity,” she said.
