'I Will Not Go Down a Rabbit Hole': Karine Jean-Pierre Ducks Doocy's Questions About Biden Classified Docs

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre evaded multiple inquiries from Fox News White House reporter Peter Doocy regarding classified documents discovered at President Joe Biden's residence in Wilmington, Delaware.

Doocy and multiple journalists in the briefing room posed persistent queries about the classified documents located at the President's home and an office in the Penn Biden Center. The Press Secretary continually directed Doocy to the White House Counsel's Office, without providing direct responses to his questions.

“After a special counsel was named, but before the FBI searched, President Biden went to his home in Wilmington. What was he doing in there?” Doocy asked.

“I would refer you to the White House Counsel’s Office,” Jean-Pierre replied.

“So something relating to this case,” Doocy said.

“I would refer you to the White House Counsel’s Office,” she responded.

Doocy then asked if reports on the documents were “leaked” to “bruise” Biden’s chances of running for reelection and as to the reason he possessed classified materials.

“I would refer you to the White House Counsel’s Office as they are the ones closely involved,” she said.

Doocy subsequently inquired whether reports on the documents were "leaked" to damage Biden's potential for re-election and the reason for his possession of classified materials.

“I would refer you to the White House Counsel’s Office as they are the ones closely involved,” she said.

“More basically, we know the president did it — why did he do it?” Doocy asked, to which Jean-Pierre quickly directed back to the committee.

“In the president’s own words, he admits to having information that wasn’t his. Why did he smuggle it out?” Doocy asked.

“I will let the statement of the president stand for itself. I’m just not going down a rabbit hole with you on this,” she said.

During a search of the property on Friday, the FBI found six additional classified documents at Biden's Wilmington home. The President stated that there was "no there there" with regard to the documents, indicating that they should not be of any importance or concern to the general public.
