On Tuesday, the NFL unveiled a list of high-profile performers for Super Bowl LVII, including Chris Stapleton, an 8-time Grammy winner, who will be singing the national anthem.

Other performers include Babyface, a 12-time Grammy winner, who will perform "America the Beautiful," and Emmy-award winner and Golden Globe nominee Sheryl Lee Ralph, who has been selected to sing "Lift Every Voice and Sing," also known as the black national anthem.

Chris Stapleton, who is recognized for his hit songs like “Tennessee Whiskey,” announced to his 1.8 million followers on Instagram that he will be performing on the biggest stage in the world.

Babyface also expressed his excitement and honor on Twitter to perform at the upcoming big game in Glendale, Arizona next month.

Sheryl Lee Ralph, a 66-year-old actress known for her role on the ABC sitcom Abbott Elementary, shared her excitement with her hundreds of thousands of followers on Twitter.

“Someone wake me up from this dream!” Ralph tweeted.

The performers at Super Bowl LVI in Inglewood, California last year included Mickey Guyton singing the national anthem; Jhené Aiko performing "America the Beautiful"; and Mary Mary singing "Lift Every Voice and Sing" with accompaniment from the L.A. Philharmonic's Youth Orchestra.

It was announced earlier that Rihanna will be the main performer at halftime, following the highly-anticipated performance from Dr. Dre, Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, and Kendrick Lamar last year.

Super Bowl LVII is slated for February 12.

South Carolina Veteran Takes Down Knife-Wielding Thug in Walmart

The Richland County Sheriff's Department was alerted to an incident at a South Carolina Walmart where a man was reported to be brandishing a pocket knife. However, before the authorities could arrive at the scene, a veteran subdued the perpetrator.
