A New York Officer saved a dog on the Upper East Side of Manhattan about a month ago. Now the office has adopted the dog.
Concerned residents dialed 911 when they saw the dog in a hot car. The windows were hot and the dog was in distress.
New York officers broke through the window and got the dog to the vet.

That will be the last time the dog is neglected. Officer Maharaj, who was one of the officers who assisted in the rescue, adopted him
“A month ago, this sweet doggo was rescued after his owner left him in his hot locked car for hours; yesterday, one of it’s rescuers, Officer Maharaj, adopted him,” said NYPD 19th Precinct.
