On Tuesday, Catholic League President Bill Donohue called out people who promote critical race theory, stating that they are the truly dangerous racists in America.
He wrote that the National Education Association (NEA) has “embraced the deeply racist agenda that marks critical race theory,” together with “virtually every politician, activist, and media outlet on the Left.”
They are “responsible for the malady it purports to abhor,” and are in fact “the new racists.”
Donohue pointed out that the real racism holding back African Americans is the left and their leadership that tells black Americans that they cannot equally compete with white Americans. Which, in return, creates a deeper race divide.
Critical race theory “will be taught in the schools this fall,” he added, which is an ideology asserting “white people today are inherently racist and are responsible for past racial injustices even if there is zero evidence that most white people have never discriminated against a single African American.”
“If this isn’t racist, the term has no meaning,” Donohue said.
