Brock Purdy spearheads the San Francisco 49ers as their lead quarterback, having steered them to the NFC Championship Game in 2022. Undefeated in all his regular season starts, Purdy has maintained the 49ers' winning streak in the initial four weeks of the 2023 NFL regular season.
Even with his accomplishments, Purdy mentioned in a "Today" interview that he's maintaining a tight budget.
"So, I still have a roommate, one of the offensive linemen here," Purdy said. "He and I are still splitting rent and I still drive my Toyota Sequoia. Other than that, it’s pretty simple."

Purdy was chosen as the last pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, giving him the label "Mr. Irrelevant."
He receives a salary of $870,000 for 2023, which will increase to $985,000 in 2024.
Though he was a seventh-round selection, Purdy emerged as the lead in San Francisco, surpassing Trey Lance during the offseason to secure the primary quarterback position.
In the first four matches, Purdy has racked up 1,019 passing yards, achieving five touchdowns without any interceptions, positioning the 49ers as one of the standout teams in the NFL.
As the 3-1 Dallas Cowboys visit this Sunday evening, it presents San Francisco with a chance to prove its mettle against a squad aiming for the Super Bowl.
