We've seen chaos and disaster come from the Black Lives Matter protests, but what we recently saw happen in Washington was something that more cities need to do.
What we saw in Snohomish County, Washington was unity.
Approximately, 200 protesters had planned to bombard the home of Seattle Police Chief Carmen Best this past weekend.
Unlike some cases where the home is vandalized and neighbors terrorized by these criminals, Best's neighbors banded together and took action.
In fact, neighbors did such a good job peacefully defusing the situation that the police said that most of the protesters had been gone by the time they arrived.
According to two neighbors, Jamie and Whitney Roulstone, the protesters drove up in about 40 different cars. Witnesses said the vehicles wrapped down the street and around the corner. The protesters had planned on driving up to Best's home but the neighbors used their own cars to block them further down the road.
“When the people showed up to my house, it certainly felt very personal about me,” said Chief Best who was not home at the time. “It really does seem like a mob mentality, and bullying, to intimidate a public official.”
“It was not peaceful. They were here to intimidate. Scare people. Scare children. There were children out there and they were asking them what schools they went to. They were yelling the most horrible things you’ve ever heard in your entire life,” said Jamie.
“You’re coming to a small community. We see all these peaceful protests getting hijacked in Seattle and Portland and other areas,” said Whitney. “It just takes one Molotov cocktail, takes one person trying to light something on fire, one firework going off. Then we now have a neighborhood in crisis. We feared that more than anything was having a crisis here in our neighborhood that we ultimately didn’t deserve.”
Chief Best had a message for both elected leaders in Seattle as well as the group that showed up to her neighborhood.
“I would hope elected officials, and specifically, our City Council would loudly, boldly and assertively denounce this kind of behavior. I’m not a person who can vote or has a specific say in the outcome of the public budget issue. So being there really is not going to make a difference in the outcome.”
This is how a community should band together.

NYC Mayor: I’m Laying Off 22,000 City Workers Unless We Get Fed Bailout (VIDEO)
There is a reoccurring trend I see in cities run by Democrats: destroy the city, trash the president, and then beg for a bailout....if the president will not give a bailout, make ultimatums and throw tantrums.
That is exactly what's happening in New York City, as Mayor Bill de Blasio declares that if the federal government does not give him a bailout, then he will lay off 22,000 city workers.
Trump Campaign Now Encouraging Supporters to Wear Masks
Hmmm, I never expected President Donald Trump to encourage people to wear masks, even though he's admitted that they can cause problems.
The president's campaign sent out an email on Monday stating that wearing masks is “something we should all try to do.”
Planned Parenthood: 'We're Keeping PPP Funds' Ordered to be Returned by SBA
Two Texas Planned Parenthood facilities declared that they will be keeping the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) funds they were ordered to return by the Small Business Administration (SBA).
“We have no plans to return these essential funds,” said Jeffrey Hons, CEO of the San Antonio Planned Parenthood clinic. The Houston location also said they will be keeping the funds, according to reports. That mean they are each keeping between $1-$2 million that was issued by the PPP coronavirus relief program to each clinic.

On Tuesday, Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel said that if you can't participate in the presidential debates, "then you should not be president."
She described presumptive 2020 Democratic presidential nominee former Vice President Joe Biden as "incoherent at best" to Fox Business Network's "Varney and Company."
Black Lives Matter Have Become the Mafia in Louisville, Here Are Their Demands
If we've learned anything from the Black Lives Matter movement, it's that they really don't care about black lives entirely, only when it's convenient to them.
The organization that is Black Lives Matter is a pure Marxist organization that is trying to push black supremacy and segregation. They want the upper hand and are trying to take it. If the organization really cared for black lives, then why are we seeing so many black on black deaths right now? Why are we seeing black children being murdered?
Minneapolis Police Department Tells Residents to Cooperate with Criminals, ‘Do as They Say – Give Up Your Wallet, Purse and Cell Phone’
It's every man for themselves in some cities nowadays, but especially in Minneapolis because the city government has decided that they're basically giving up on trying to fight crime.
Robbery and carjackings have gone through the roof in Minneapolis ever since the rioting started and instead of trying to do something about it, they're just telling residents to give up.
