And in the latest news regarding the Kyle Rittenhouse murder trial, lead prosecutor Thomas Binger claimed that Rittenhouse fired his gun into a crowd "full of heroes" who were only trying to stop an "active-shooter threat."
Is he seriously calling rioters, looters, and child rapists a group of "heroes"? Who exactly does he think will buy that load of crap??
“We don’t have time in the moment to go back and take a look at the body and replay the video and make a decision before going after the person with a gun,” Binger stated, in reference to the men who chased Rittenhouse down and assaulted him before he fatally shot Joseph Rosenbaum in self defense.

He added, “We’ve had several police officers testify that an active shooter situation, their first instinct, their first training, is to go in and stop the threat. They don’t sit there and wonder ‘well, maybe it was self-defense, I don’t know, I’m going to wait and see.’ And everyday we read about heroes that stop active shooters. That’s what was going on here. And that crowd was right. And that crowd was full of heroes. And that crowd did something that, honestly, I’m not sure if I would’ve had the courage to do.”
Binger also attempted to argue that Rittenhouse lost "the right to self-defense" because he was "the one who brought a gun."
First of all, Kyle did not start shooting until after a gun was pointed at him, which was admitted by one of his attackers on the stand....second of all, there are several witness testimonies claiming that Rosenbaum lunged for his gun right before he was fatally shot.
