Trump Says Harris Campaign is 'Imploding,' Makes Fires Up Vegas Rally With Three Tax Cut Pledges

Former President Donald Trump spoke in Las Vegas on Thursday night at a Turning Point Action rally. He claimed that Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign is “imploding.”

"[Harris is] actually imploding, if you take a look. Because, look, I'm not supposed to say it, but we are leading by so much," Trump declared, energizing the crowd.

He continued, "Now, we're leading by a lot in Nevada. We're leading by a lot in Arizona, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin. Even states that are typically never in play for 50, 60, 70 years … But the fact is that states, other states too, big states, are all in play and they like us. But you know what? They think she is grossly incompetent. Let's face it, she is not doing well."

The rally took place at an arena on the University of Nevada, Las Vegas campus. Attendees included Florida Senator Marco Rubio and former Hawaii Representative Tulsi Gabbard. Trump announced that 29,000 supporters packed the arena, with another "29,000 outside to fill the place up twice."

Trump emphasized the importance of Nevada, a key battleground state. He reiterated his promise to eliminate taxes on tips. He criticized the Biden-Harris administration for rising inflation. He noted that Harris claimed she would end taxes on tips after his announcement.

"When I said no tax on tips, remember? A month later, she comes out, 'and we will have no tax on tips.’ She never said that. And she's never said it again. You're not going to get it," he said.

Trump asserted, "We're going to have no tax on tips." He accused Harris of increasing the tip allocation tax rate by 60%. "If she gets four more years, Kamala Harris will pick your pockets bare," he warned.

He also polled the crowd on which tax cuts they preferred. Cheers erupted as he named the options, with seniors favoring no tax on Social Security benefits.

The former president criticized the Biden-Harris border policies and pledged to end the war between Russia and Ukraine if elected. "Sadly, zero chance that Putin would have gone into Ukraine if I were president," he lamented.

On November 5, Trump plans to contact both President Putin and President Zelenskyy to seek an end to the conflict. "I'm going to try and get it done sooner than that. It's horrible," he said, also mentioning the ongoing conflict in Israel.

He encouraged Nevada voters to tell Harris, "You're fired." Trump rallied them to stand up and express their dissatisfaction. "Kamala, Kamala, you're fired. Get out of here. Fired, fired! Get out. Get the hell out of here. We got to fix our country," he concluded.
