Trump Has a Holiday Message for All Americans, Even the 'Radical Left Lunatics'

President-elect Trump wished Americans a happy Thanksgiving on Thursday, including those he called "Radical Left Lunatics." He promised to "Make America Great Again" when he takes office on January 20, 2025.

In a Truth Social post, Trump addressed the "radical left" directly. "Happy Thanksgiving to all, including to the Radical Left Lunatics who have worked so hard to destroy our Country, but who have miserably failed," he wrote. "Don’t worry, our Country will soon be respected, productive, fair, and strong, and you will be, more than ever before, proud to be an American!"

He added that their ideas and policies were "hopelessly bad," claiming a "landslide victory" by those who want to "MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN."

Later, Trump shared a photo of himself with law enforcement officers. Alongside the image, he extended Thanksgiving wishes to everyone.

It wasn’t clear where Trump spent Thanksgiving this year. During his first term, he often celebrated the holiday at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida. The estate, dubbed the "Winter White House," became his primary residence in 2019.

Since defeating Vice President Kamala Harris in the 2024 election, Trump has been focused on building his administration. He’s been working with his transition team to finalize Cabinet appointments.

On Tuesday night, several of Trump’s Cabinet nominees faced violent threats. Fox News Digital reported nearly a dozen appointees were targeted, sparking a "swift" law enforcement response.

Targets included John Ratcliffe, tapped for CIA director, and Pete Hegseth, nominated for secretary of defense. Others, like Rep. Elise Stefanik, Trump’s pick for UN ambassador, and Brooke Rollins, his choice for secretary of agriculture, also received threats.

Lee Zeldin, named as the EPA administrator nominee, separately confirmed he had been targeted too. The incidents have raised concerns for the safety of the incoming administration’s team.
