Tom Brady Reveals the 'Biggest Problem' With the Younger Generation

Tom Brady has expressed frustration with the attitude of new athletes in professional sports. On the "DeepCut with VicBlends" podcast, he discussed the self-centered mindset of younger players.

"I think the biggest problem with a lot of f---ing kids these days, it’s all about them," Brady said. "Their brand, their social media. When it’s about ‘me’ and then not about ‘us,’ well, there’s no way to succeed as a team if all you’re doing is thinking how selfish it is for you to get the attention."

VicBlends agreed, emphasizing the value of elevating others. "It’s cool to show the world how great you are, but the most inspiring thing is how great you can make others," he remarked.

Brady reflected on the broader implications. "That’s the point of life," he responded. "Is what we could do – how do you help other people finish the race?"

The podcast stirred excitement, especially after Brady hinted at a potential NFL return. He playfully considered a comeback, comparing it to Michael Jordan's return to basketball.

"I don’t know. …I’m always going to be in good shape, always be able to throw the ball. So, to come in for a little bit, like MJ coming back, I don’t know if they’d let me, but I wouldn’t be opposed to it."

Speculation about Brady's return is rampant, with fans wondering if he might play again. Brady has made a comeback before, so a return isn't out of the question.

Brady's recent retirement period followed his active seasons. He took a break last year but stayed connected to football as a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders.

Brady hopes the upcoming athletes adopt a more team-oriented approach, regardless of whether he plays again or not.
