Texas Senator Ted Cruz shared a photo of his breakfast on Saturday to mock First Lady Jill Biden.
“In honor of Jill Biden, having a delicious breakfast today!” Cruz wrote along with a photo of a beautiful taco sitting on a piece of foil:
Social media users loved the tweet from Cruz.
“Knowing her she probably is confident Taco Bell is authentic Mexican Food,” one user replied.
In case you missed it, this was referring to the debacle of a speech Jill Biden gave while speaking at Latinx IncluXion Luncheon on Monday. She compared the Hispanic community to breakfast tacos.
Biden said the Hispanic community is “as unique as the breakfast tacos here in San Antonio."

It should come as no surprise that The National Association of Hispanic Journalists were irritated.
“Using breakfast tacos to try to demonstrate the uniqueness of Latinos in San Antonio demonstrates a lack of cultural knowledge and sensitivity to the diversity of Latinos in the region,” NAHJ responded.
“NAHJ encourages Dr. Biden and her speech writing team to take the time in the future to better understand the complexities of our people and communities.”
