Senator Lindsey Graham Responds to Zelenskyy's Suggestion He Move to Ukraine

Sen. Lindsey Graham fired back at Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy after the leader suggested he move to Ukraine to make his voice matter.

Graham responded to a clip shared by Fox News host Laura Ingraham. In it, Zelenskyy spoke with a reporter about Graham’s recent comments.

The reporter asked about Graham's suggestion that Zelenskyy should resign. Zelenskyy replied, "Lindsey Graham is a very good guy…I can give him Ukrainian citizenship, then his voice will gain weight."

Graham shot back. "Unfortunately, until there is an election, no one has a voice in Ukraine," he said while sharing Ingraham’s post.

The senator later posted on X, saying he has tried "very hard" to support Ukraine’s fight against Russia. He also acknowledged Zelenskyy’s leadership in tough times.

"I, like so many others, can only give advice," Graham wrote. "It’s up to President Zelensky (sic) to determine whether or not to take it."

This exchange followed a heated meeting between Zelenskyy, Trump, and Vice President JD Vance. The tense discussion, broadcast from the Oval Office, made waves.

Graham called the meeting a "complete utter disaster." He said Zelenskyy either needs to step down or change his approach.

"I have never been more proud of the president. I was very proud of JD Vance standing up for our country," Graham said.

He slammed Zelenskyy’s behavior as "disrespectful." He even questioned whether the U.S. could continue working with him.

Graham added that Americans might not trust Zelenskyy after the dispute. He also stressed that the U.S.-Ukraine relationship is "vitally important."

Still, he expressed doubt. "I don’t know if we can ever do business with Zelenskyy again," he admitted.
