RINO Senator Mitt Romney attacked former presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard, accusing her of treason and spreading "false Russian propaganda."
He tweeted, "Tulsi Gabbard is parroting false Russian propaganda. Her treasonous lies may well cost lives."
His slander was in response to Tulsi's Sunday morning tweet about the biolabs in Ukraine that the United States has a hand in.
She wrote, "There are 25+ US-funded biolabs in Ukraine which if breached would release & spread deadly pathogens to US/world. We must take action now to prevent disaster. US/Russia/Ukraine/NATO/UN/EU must implement a ceasefire now around these labs until they’re secured & pathogens destroyed."
Business Insider, reporting on those labs, said:
In a fact check of Russia’s biolabs claims, The New York Times reported that there are biological labs in Ukraine that are backed by the US in an effort to prevent bioweapons from being made or used.
The Washington Post reported the labs study African swine fever, which infects pigs rather than humans, with the goal of preventing it from spreading. The Post also reported funding for the Ukraine labs was initially authorized by the Pentagon’s Defense Threat Reduction Agency.
So while there is still debate about the labs, that does not make Gabbard's tweet "misinformation" nor "treasonous."
Many people slammed Romney for his ignorance. Writer Julie Kelly wrote of Gabbard, "She’s more popular in the Republican Party than you are. And she’s way smarter, which isn’t a tough metric to exceed."
LOL. She isn't lying though. I would choose Gabbard over Romney any day!
