As I scroll through my Facebook time, one thing has become very apparent; more and more people have become aware of how big of a problem human trafficking is...not just in our country, but around the world.
And I don't have a lot of conspiracy theorists that I'm friends with on Facebook. These are your everyday people from different walks of life.
We've recently seen the hashtag #SaveOurChildren shoot up to the top trending hashtag on Twitter and used on Facebook as well.
This involves not just Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell, but countless others across the world.
You may have heard of Pizzagate. That is all about sex trafficking and pedophilia as well as some other insane things that I don't even want to mention in this article. If you do go and research this on your own, be advised that you're going to be disgusted by some of the things that you'll come across, so consider this a warning.
But these children who are thrown into sex trafficking are not given up on. In fact, in a single day in Michigan 123 children were recovered. This is also in just one single county.
The U.S. Marshals Service said they had been requested to assist on 30 missing child cases in the two weeks prior to the sweep.
Marshals located and recovered nine children prior to the sweep and another seven during the operation.
They also received information on two missing children in Texas and one in Minnesota, which they are still actively investigating.
The U.S. Marshals Service also said Michigan State Police have asked for assistance with 14 other cases.
'The Eastern District of Michigan is fully committed to assisting state and local agencies with locating and recovering missing children and the prevention of their falling victim to sex trafficking,' the U.S. Marshals Service said.
'The Detroit Missing Child Recovery Unit is tasked with investigating and recovering missing children upon request by a law enforcement agency currently attempting to locate a missing child.
'The message to the missing children and their families that we wish to convey is that we will never stop looking for you.'
How absolutely unreal is it that this many missing kids were found in just one county? This web is much more intricate that you and I could even imagine, but it looks like the web is finally being torn down.
