The left acts as if Conservatives are violent, but you never hear stories about people in MAGA hats attacking liberals. Unless, of course, you're Jussie Smollett and then you have to make the story up.
On Tuesday, a New York City art gallery owner reported being viscously beaten in Manhattan for wearing a red "Make America Great Again" hat.
Jahangir "John" Turan, 42, said he was attacked by a group of teenagers on Canal Street. "I love President Trump. I think he's doing a great job," he stated.
He says the group of about 15 "kids" yelled "F*** Trump" and stomped on him. One of them smashed his head into a scaffold. Turan says he suffered a fracture in his cheek and a badly swollen eye. He's awaiting an eye specialist to determine if there is any permanent damage to his sight.
He held a Thursday afternoon news conference to demand that the NYPD find those responsible for the attack.
"It's sad to get beat up for wearing this hat. This is America," Turan added.
Honestly, I agree with him. It's truly a sad day in the great country we live in when you can't even support the president without risking being attacked.
This also isn't the first story like this that has come about. I personally know someone who had his face slashed open with a beer bottle, that was broken over his head, as well as a broken nose, simply because he wore a MAGA hat.
This has to stop!
