If you keep up with my writings, then you already know that I'm done with professional sports.
I'm not going to support bending a knee to a group of terrorists who are destroying our country. Until they change their stance on politics being brought into sports and stop catering to liberals, I'm done.
And as if things hadn't got bad enough already, according to a recent report, the NFL is making another big change over how they will air the national anthem.
If you are planning on watching the NFL this year you will only see protesters during the National Anthem.
As the military or police honor guards come out to present the colors and protestors kneel there will no longer be anyone singing the national anthem.
According to a report from Michael McCarthy of Front Office Sports, the NFL has decided not to have an on-field singer present the national anthem. They are even considering doing away with the honor guard presenting the flag.
McCarthy writes:
The objective is to strictly limit the number of people on the sidelines who can potentially infect players and coaches with COVID-19, said sources. By the same token, the league will also crack down on the number of credentialed reporters and photographers with access to the playing field. Given the pandemic, the number of medical personnel on the sidelines will remain the same.
The ‘Star-Spangled Banner’ will still be played before each NFL game, said sources. But the anthem will not be performed live, such as the annual Super Bowl anthem performance most recently sung by Demi Lovato before Super Bowl LIV in February.
Instead, the league’s 32 teams may ask performers to sing the anthem off-site, then stream it live inside the stadium, or have singers pre-record the anthem elsewhere, then play their rendition before kickoff. This is stupid also if you ask me. It's not like the singer is surrounding by a ton of people. It wouldn't be hard to get them to a spot to sing safely.

Over the weekend President Donald Trump signed executive orders for the following: adding $400 to federal unemployment extension (which replaces the $600 unemployment funds that expired last month), a payroll tax holiday, and eviction protections.
Of the $400 for unemployment, $300 will be paid by the federal government and the additional $100 is to be paid by the state.

Chicago, ran by Democrats and infested with crime, has only seen an increase in looting and violence over the past several weeks. However, instead of accepting calls for federal HOPE response, Mayor Lori Lightfoot declared that they do not need federal help, and began to push for more gun control.
She obviously does not understand that criminals do not care about gun control. Criminals break the law, so what makes her think that taking guns from the good people will keep them from the hands of the bad people? All it does is leave good people defenseless.

Brooklyn College Professor of Math Education Laurie Rubel declared on Twitter that the equation 2+2=4 “reeks of white supremacist patriarchy.” As if that wasn't bizarre enough, several academics across the country retweeted her gibberish.
