U.S. Surgeon General Jerome Adams sent a strong message to the American people in regard to the growing pandemic of the coronavirus in the United States.

Adams felt that it was so important that it really needed to be said as a matter of public safety.

Adams tweeted, “Seriously people — STOP BUYING MASKS! They are NOT effective in preventing general public from catching #Coronavirus, but if healthcare providers can’t get them to care for sick patients, it puts them and our communities at risk!”

The first thing that I thought of though when I saw this was that if masks are effective for doctors to use, why shouldn't people be using them as well? I mean if it keeps them from getting sick, doesn't it make sense to do the same thing to try and keep ourselves from getting sick also?

Rather than buying masks to wear, Adams said to do this instead,

“The best way to protect yourself and your community is with everyday preventive actions, like staying home when you are sick and washing hands with soap and water, to help slow the spread of respiratory illness. Avoid touching your [face] w/ unwashed hands, and wipe down surfaces with cleaning solution or wipes.”

I can agree and disagree with the statement, here's why.

I agree that doctors need the masks because they are exposed to a lot more sick people than we are on a daily basis. They also need to keep the other patients safe as well so as to not get anyone else sick.

On the other hand, it is very easy to forget to wash our hands or to keep our hands off of our face. We're human, it happens.

I might even accidentally lift my hand to scratch my nose and BOOM...there goes that method out the window, but if I'd had a mask it woudl have helped me in that moment.

I think we should just be treating this like we do the flu. I know that we hunker down a bit when a sickness is going around in our town and we are sure to wash and sanitize our hands when we can't wash them.

WATCH: Iranians Purposely Infect Themselves with Coronavirus by Licking Shrine

It seems that Iran is getting the worst of the coronavirus (other than China of course). The virus has been spreading rapidly and has even infected 28 members of the Iranian parliament. Even an advisor to Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei died from the virus.

Ayatollah Khamenei himself will likely be infected soon if he hasn't been already. I'm sure they'll keep it hush-hush even if he is so as to not cause alarm in the country.

Bernie Sanders, Kamala Harris, Cory Booker, Kirsten Gillibrand, Amy Klobuchar, and Elizabeth Warren all voted against the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act.

FDA Medical Adviser Admits: 'Congress is Owned by Pharma'

Big Pharma owns many politicians. I know it, you know it, we all know it. They don't even try to keep it a secret anymore.

For instance, the push for mandatory vaccination is just one way they are looking to control the people, by way of our elected officials. Once the officials make it a law, then people must be injected with whatever the pharmaceutical companies come up with and we can't even fight it.
