Earlier this week, Detroit Lions coach Dan Campbell hinted more Applebee’s commercials were on the way.
“Unfortunately, there’s more to come, I’m afraid,” Campbell said, a bit embarrassed.
Well, the second one is already out. It might even be better than the first!
In this ad, Campbell plays an Applebee’s assistant shift manager, using his signature motivational style. He pumps up the restaurant crew with his energy.
What makes the commercial stand out is the way it brings in real "Campbell-isms" like “friendly competition.”
But the real gem? Lions fans will love this. Campbell stares at the "Team Member of the Month" photo and, with a grin, says:
“I’m coming for you, Craig.”
