As we are all aware, House and Senate Democrats led by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer are holding the American people hostage once again.
The additional funding for unemployment insurance has run out and they were supposed to have negotiated another stimulus package including another check, but they have a wish list that they want to be fulfilled which includes agreeing to mail-in voting in November.
Unless they get everything on their list, they're not budging. That's not how negotiations are done and because of their stupid stubbornness, Americans suffer.
Thank goodness President Trump stepped in and took action to protect the American people while Congress fails to do its job. The President, as you know, signed some executive orders which extends the additional unemployment benefits at a slightly smaller amount, protects people from evictions, provides relief for student loan debt, and suspends payroll taxes.
While it doesn't solve all the problems it sure is a whole lot more than what the Democrats were doing.

Instead of compromising on legislation that would immediately help Americans pummeled by the coronavirus, Pelosi and Schumer prioritized issues that had nothing to do with the well-being of the nation. They pressed instead to ban ID requirements and signature verification for voters – measures that, as the president noted, would encourage increased fraud in our elections, and that Republicans would never accept.
Mainly, Pelosi and Schumer stonewalled because they want to torpedo the U.S. economy. Democrats know that creating jobs is Trump’s signature achievement, and also the most important issue to voters. By blocking the next round of stimulus, they intentionally undermined the financial security of tens of millions of Americans.
They don’t care; their priority is beating President Trump. The American people be damned.
Apparently, now that the President took action Pelosi and Schumer are willing to negotiate. They know they no longer have the upper hand, that's why they can negotiate.
The President tweeted,
"So now Schumer and Pelosi want to meet to make a deal. Amazing how it all works, isn’t it. Where have they been for the last 4 weeks when they were “hardliners”, and only wanted BAILOUT MONEY for Democrat run states and cities that are failing badly? They know my phone number!"

Gov. Newsom Cried: California Can't Afford Extra Unemployment Benefits
Over the weekend President Donald Trump signed executive orders for the following: adding $400 to federal unemployment extension (which replaces the $600 unemployment funds that expired last month), a payroll tax holiday, and eviction protections.
Of the $400 for unemployment, $300 will be paid by the federal government and the additional $100 is to be paid by the state.

Rep. Steve Scalise warned Americans during a Fox News interview that former Vice President Joe Biden wants to take our guns away. He suggested that he may not be coming right out and saying it but that he is letting the anti-gun left push the agenda for him. That way he doesn't have to get his hands dirty.
Scalise spoke about Americans using guns for self preservation, “Every day in America people use guns to save their lives.”

She obviously does not understand that criminals do not care about gun control. Criminals break the law, so what makes her think that taking guns from the good people will keep them from the hands of the bad people? All it does is leave good people defenseless.
